My name is Ted Carlson, founder of Summit Push Coffee Beans and Tea. I grew up in Minnesota, but my heart has always belonged to the outdoors—especially the mountains of Colorado. From a young age, I’ve lived for adventure. I’ve traveled across the world, explored countless countries, and spent my life hiking, camping, skydiving, mountain climbing, and chasing the next summit.

Summit Push Coffee Beans and Tea was born from that same spirit of exploration. I began roasting coffee beans to help support my adventurous lifestyle, and along the way, it became a passion of its own. Every batch I roast is inspired by the feeling of pushing toward a summit—the challenge, the excitement, and the reward waiting at the top.
