About Ted

Ted Carlson, founder of Summit Push Coffee.
I grew up in Minnesota, but my heart has always belonged to the mountains and the outdoors — especially the peaks of Colorado. From a young age I’ve lived for adventure: hiking, camping, skydiving, mountain-climbing, and chasing that next summit.

Summit Push Coffee started as a way to fuel my own journey — a way to stay energized when I was awake before dawn to hit the trail, face the cold, or push for altitude. What began as a personal ritual turned into a mission: to bring that same energy and adventurous spirit to others, wherever they are — whether it’s in the mountains, on a road trip, or just starting the day early at home.

Every bag I roast is crafted with purpose. I source beans from remarkable places around the world — then roast and package them with one thing in mind: adventure. I want each cup to remind you that you’re capable of more than you think. That each day can be your climb. And that every morning can come with a crisp air and the promise of a new peak.

Summit Push Coffee isn’t just about coffee beans or tea bags — it’s about mindset, grit, and pushing forward. It’s about believing in your own ability to rise, no matter where you start.
